Episode 5-MURDER: The Murder of Marine Corporal Justin Huff
Ep5. MURDER: The Marine Catfish Murder – Who Killed Marine Corporal Justin Lee Huff?
In early 2006, Marine Justin Huff was on a temporary assignment at Dam Neck Naval Station in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Justin was a good Marine – tall, handsome, and very well liked by all those around him. Justin was a newlywed and he and his wife were expecting their first child in June that year. This is why it was strange when Justin failed to show up for class on January 2, 2006. It seemed as if he vanished in the night, leaving a half eaten pizza in his room, and leaving around 3am without a coat, never to be seen again. Investigator dug deep to find out what happened, but it was a group of keen eyed and fearless Marines who would break this missing persons case wide open! Once the investigators got a name – Petty Officer Cooper Jackson – they remained on his tail trying to figure out why two men who seemingly did not know each other would have crossed paths causing one to kill the other and then hide the murder. The investigators found their answer in the form of a twisted catfish game that went too far. Dig in with Margot as she discusses the case against Navy Petty Officer Cooper Jackson.
